The big news in these parts is that two and a half weeks ago, I gave birth to a beautiful and healthy baby girl.

"Ahh! Gaijin da!" "It's a foreigner!" the kid screamed after rounding the corner of the supermarket aisle and running into me. He quickly turned on his heels and darted off to find his mother. Yes, there was no doubt about it, I was a gaijin, a thing to shock small children and adults alike

The wonders of birth - enjoy every precious moment of it. I hv held 13 nieces n nephews n they were so dear to me. 2 grand nieces has joined our family recently. The excitment of new borns has rekindled our deepest love for the circle of life :-)
